Reposting

Restarted my blog. Allot of oldies but goodies so I reposted them and they are out of order. Sorry. That's what happened when I haven't posted in a while.

2021 New Year, New Me

 He y'all,

Time has changed over the years. I have changed. My life has changed. The kids have got so much bigger. They are now 7,12,16. How time flies. I now work from home, and so does my husband. So I get to spend so much time with them. I love it. We have stayed healthy besides myself getting pneumonia.

I hope to write more in here. I did try the Youtube thing but I don't like being in from of the camera. But I may do more were I'm behind the camera. Here is the link to my YouTube channel.

Its been so long. basically a year.  kids have gotten so big. between one child in soccer and working full time i barely able to keep up. so now I'm able to get back to being me again and posting. I'm sure ill be working just as much but gonna try and keep accountable.
The summer is coming to a end with a nice family trip camping. tomorrow we head out for a week. cant wait. today will be packing and more packing. ready for a adventure. the kiddos are exited since they go every year with my parents and my nephews. this year my husband and i get to join and my youngest gets to go this year. Fly fishing and trying to catch crayfish are gonna be fun. hope to post pics when back. when we get back its time for school to start a week later. So happy its almost fall, which is why camping is gonna be so nice to get away from the heat here. I'm looking forward to highs in the 80*s lows in the 40*s.

Late night food prep meat loaf

Ok sitting her waiting for my little one to fall asleep,  ands what to do is food brain storm what to make for dinner the next night. I'm making meatloaf and potatoes.  But,  i normally make with bbq sauce. Me trying to be frugal and us what i have in pantry. So ooo im searching on #pinterist my favorite place,  for recipies, inspiration, ideas if you will.  I use my crock pot alot 2x a week or more.  It's six years old now and almost about to crap out on me.  It's like starting a car last few weeks,  come on baby,  you can work one more time.  ONE MORE TIME, PLEASE! I LOVE YOU!  YOU CAN DO THIS. yay you turned on...... that was close!!!    I think i use my crock pot more than most do. It's had its fare share of use most use in a life time.  One of the best gifts I've gotten besides my kitchen aid.  Any who... i came across a dill potatorecipe i might try,  and i think ill stick to my worshishire sauce bread crumbs recipe for my meat loaf just minuses the bbq sauce.  Tried and true. 😀

Aprons

Seriously am i the only one in my apron every day?i were it so much i forget i have it on till my kids remind me to take it off if and when we leave. I feel like im doing something when i wear one. It gives me courage to get things done,  like dishes, cleaning, etc.  Not worried to get my clothes dirty. Like im protected.  Wonder mom to the rescue. At least i feel that way.  They are so hard to find too. At least priced write. I suck at sewing so making them doesn't work.  I have to mend one i have that was home made by my mom.  It got snagged walking past a cabnet.. i cried that day.  It's the one i have that fits me perfectly.
Back to my question... it seems people don't wear them anymore like it's a not cute so,they don't choose to.  I think it should come back in style.  Like the norm. Not just on holidays.

Craft motivation needed

I feel like im in a crochet/knitting rutt! Like the weather got warm and i have absolutely no motivation to crochet or knit at all.  Yarn in the lap is warm and with warm weather it doesn't do well. I hate being hot. I get motivation for yarn crafts in the fall once it cools down and all.  Hope i can find some soon becouse i want to badly just hands don't want to work it seems when warm.  It's like is rather paint than crochet right know.  Hmmm anyone else get that way with different things from cooking or etc.
